USA- President Day- About American Culture

Americans will be celebrating President’s Day on February 21st this year. President’s Day is a federal holiday held on the third Monday in February celebrating the office of the Presidency, the head of state and government.

In honor of President’s Day, we thought we would share some fun trivia about current and past presidents:
* President John Quincy Adams used to get up two hours before sunrise to go skinny-dipping (swimming in the nude) in the Potomac River.
* President Abraham Lincoln was six feet four inches (1.93m) tall, the tallest President so far.
* The teddy bear was named after President Theodore Roosevelt.
* President Barack Obama has read every Harry Potter book.
